May 11th and 13th- Voter Education Forum Notice

On May 11th and May 13th, 2010 the Village of Port Chester will be holding its next series of voter education forums with information regarding the June 15th, 2010 Board of Trustees election.  The session on May 11th will be conducted in Spanish at the Summerfield Methodist Church (225 King Street, Port Chester NY) at 6:30 pm.  The session on May 13th will be conducted in English* at the Park Avenue School (75 Park Avenue, Port Chester NY) at 6:30 pm.  These forums will present information on early voting, cumulative voting and other important changes to the election process.  A voting machine will be present at these forums for anyone wishing to practice voting.  Following each of these presentations, Village officials will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns from the public. April 27th and 29th- Voter Education Forum Notice

On April 27th and April 29th, 2010 the Village of Port Chester will be holding its next series of voter education forums with information regarding the June 15th, 2010 Board of Trustees election.  The session on April 27th will be conducted in English* at the Brooksville Terrace Apartment Community Room (167-169 Terrace Avenue, Port Chester NY) at 6:30 pm.  The session on April 29th will be conducted in Spanish at the St. George Orthodox Church (360 Irving Avenue, Port Chester NY) at 6:30 pm.  These forums will present information on early voting, cumulative voting and other important changes to the election process.  A voting machine will be present at these forums for anyone wishing to practice voting.  Following each of these presentations, Village officials will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns from the public. April 15th and 21st - Voter Education & Candidate Qualifying Forum

On April 15th and April 21st, 2010 the Village of Port Chester will be holding its next series of voter education forums with information regarding the June 15th, 2010 Board of Trustees election.  The session on April 15th will be conducted in English* at the King Street School (697 King Street, Port Chester NY) at 6:30 pm.  The session on April 21st will be conducted in Spanish at the Edison School (132 Rectory Street, Port Chester NY) at 6:30 pm.  These forums will present information on early voting, cumulative voting and other important changes to the election process.  A voting machine will be present at these forums for anyone wishing to practice voting.  Additionally, there will be a forum on the candidate qualifying process for anyone interested in becoming a candidate for the June 15th Board of Trustees election.  This forum will be held at the Senior Community Center (220 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, NY) on April 22nd at 6:30pm.  Following each of these presentations, Village officials will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns from the public. March 27th - Voter Education & Candidate Qualifying Forum

On March 27th, 2010 the Village of Port Chester will be holding the first in a series of voter educational forums aimed to provide voters with more information regarding the June 15th, 2010 Board of Trustees election. There will be two educational sessions on March 27th held at Don Bosco Community Center (22 Don Bosco Place Port Chester, NY): a morning session conducted in English* at 10am and an afternoon session in Spanish at 1:30pm. The voter educational forums will present information on early voting, cumulative voting and other important changes to the election process. Additionally, each session will also include pertinent information on the candidate qualifying process for anyone interested in becoming a candidate for the June 15th Board of Trustees election. Following the presentation, Village officials will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns from the public.  A voting machine will also be available for anyone wishing to practice voting. February 12th - Board of Trustee Vacancies

PLEASE BE ADVISED that the next annual Village Election for officers in the Village of Port Chester will be held on June 15, 2010.  The Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Chester hereby designates the following offices as vacant at the end of the current official year, to be filled at the Village Election on June 15, 2010: Six (6) Trustees, for a term of two (2) years and nine (9) months.
