"A Historic Election for Port Chester Voters!"

On June 15th, 2010, Port Chester voters will make history. You will have a unique opportunity to make a difference with your vote. For the first time:

• You will elect every member of the Board of Trustees : In most elections you elect only two members of the Board of Trustees. On June 15th, voters will elect all six trustees.
• You will vote in June: Regular Village Board of Trustee elections are ususally held in March, but this year Election Day will be June 15th.
• You can vote up to a week before Election Day: Port Chester will be the first community in New York State to allow early voting to increase access. You can vote at Village Hall from 9 am to 8 pm on Tuesday through Friday and from 9am to 5 pm on Saturday from June 8th until June 12th.
• You have the power to award your six votes as you wish: In the past, voters cast as many votes as there were seats up for election, but voters could only give one vote to each canddiate. With our new cumulative voting system, you have the power to cast your votes exactly as you wish, including casting more than one vote for your favorite candidate.
